I made this tonight and it was awesome! I initially made it for breakfast the next day but me and my hubby couldn’t resist so we each took a little sliver of it. YUM! He said it was the best one I’ve ever made!
Broccoli & Ham Quiche
1 unbaked deep dish pie crust (9 inches)
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp flour
4 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup of milk
2 Tbsp chopped green onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp dried rosemary & garlic
1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
Line pie crust with a double thickness of heavy duty foil. Bake at 450 for 8 minutes. Remove foil, then bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on wire rack while preparing filling. Lower heat to 350 for oven.
Toss cheeses with flour; set aside. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, green onion, and seasonings. Stir in the ham, broccoli and the cheese mixture. Pour into prepared crust.
Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until set. Let stand for 10 mins before cutting.
Yield: 8 servings

I tried it and agree, delicious. A nice light supper for when the heat hits, which I don’t think it ever will here in Nova Scotia, sigh 😉.
