One thing I know about myself is that I can be a literal person, literally! The other day I was at the post office as I needed to mail a magazine to my friend in Canada. She can’t get this particular magazine up there so I mail her one every time a new issue comes out. Now in the past it has cost me around $17.00 to do so but today the lady at the post office told me that since it’s a flexible material (magazine) inside the envelope I won’t have to fill out a Customs slip and it will only cost $5.42 to mail it. Great! She said, “Just write magazine or documents on the outside of the envelope next to your friend’s name.” I hesitated for a moment and then thought to myself, just do as she says. So I literally wrote “Magazines OR documents” on the envelope. (As if I didn’t know what was actually inside the envelope.) It wasn’t until the next magazine came along that I needed to mail to Canada that I realized what I did. Ohhh, she meant that I should write magazine OR documents inside, depending on what it was. I had a good chuckle over that one. 🙂

  1. And your friend on Canada really appreciates both the magazines AND your humour!! I’m glad you renewed the blog. Look forward to reading about your shenanigans and looking at the pictures of your yummy baking, which I hope to experience soon in person in Maine ❤️.

  2. Its like you read my mind! You appear to
know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or
something. I think that you could do with a few pics
to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this
is fantastic blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
