I love this cheeseball, it’s so delicious (and addictive!). My mother used to make this cheeseball all the time and we would devour it. It may not “look” pretty when it’s covered in chopped pecans or walnuts (depending on which one you choose) but let me tell you, once you dive inside to the cream cheese with cherries, green pepper and pineapple, it’s game over. You will be telling yourself, “Just one more cracker and that’s it” but the taste of the cheeseball will render you completely helpless. ha ha

Ingredients:

  • 2 8oz packages of cream cheese
  • 1 4oz red cherries
  • 1/3 cup of chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 cup well drained crushed pineapple (Drain the juice really well)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Roll in chopped walnuts or pecans (whichever one you like). Shape into two balls. Wrap in waxed paper and saran wrap and refrigerate for four hours or overnight. Grab a box of crackers and enjoy!

  1. I’ve made your Mum’s cheeseball on several occasions and it’s the tastiest one I’ve ever made!
